The cannabis industry has become more and more overzealous with all of the choices, strains, effects, marketing lingo, and too many products that overwhelm the everyday consumer. There’s no offering in the market that is simply just a good, everyday weed.
The strategy behind the launch of this brand was simplifying the entire process of selecting a cannabis product so our audience can quickly decide what they need, without all the hassle. For the solution, we took inspiration from the utilitarian design of vintage mechanic ephemera, and simplified the entire system to it's most basic elements. Anything superfluous was removed, including complicated terms to explain the difference between the strains. To complement the design, we also developed a no-frills tone of voice with an attitude for our poster campaign. Customized, embroidered Dickie's work shirts are handed out to select budtenders, and iconography helped to visually build out the rest of the brand.
